Who We Are
Emergent Energy Solutions is a West Chester, PA–based renewable energy services company specializing in Geothermal Renewable Energy Credit (GREC) aggregation, registration, and market brokerage. We serve residential and commercial geothermal heat pump owners across Maryland, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Pennsylvania.
What We Do
We handle the full GREC lifecycle: eligibility assessment, state certification (Maryland PSC, Virginia SCC), PJM-GATS and NEPOOL-GIS registration, monthly credit management, market aggregation, and payment remittance — at no upfront cost to system owners.
Our Approach
Emergent Energy charges zero upfront fees. We are compensated as a percentage of GREC sale proceeds only. This no-upfront-cost, percentage-of-proceeds model ensures our interests are fully aligned with yours — we maximize your revenue because that's how we earn ours. If your system doesn't generate revenue, we don't earn a fee.

Our Expertise
